Our Mission

Improve global survival for cancer by providing the world access to accurate information and care

My Cancer Companion is part of an international collaboration of world experts to improve cancer education for patients. As foremost specialists in the field, we constantly lecture around the world and write on advances and improvements to cancer care. However, conferences cannot be run continuously and doctors cannot read everything that is published. The result is delay of (potentially life changing) information reaching doctors and further delays (to allow doctors to assimilate the information, and experts to issue clinical practice recommendations) before widespread acceptance and changes in clinical practice lead to a modification in your care.

We aspire to reduce the time it takes for information on advances in cancer care to reach you. To achieve this, we will bring experts directly to you with articles written by them in a manner you understand. We want to empower you with the latest and best information on your options to allow you to participate in decision making on options you have. If we can educate you ahead of the doctors that you see, we would have achieved a significant goal.
