Professor Dean Fennell is a medical oncologist, and chair of thoracic medical oncology at the University of Leicester. He served as President of the International Mesothelioma Interest Group, and leads a translational research laboratory and numerous clinical trials for mesothelioma.

She is an active member of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine. She is a member of the nutrition team at The Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston as a Senior Clinical Nutritionist.

Dr Jonathan Spicer is an Associate Professor of Surgery at McGill University, where he is the medical director of the McGill University Health Center Thoracic Oncology Network. He is the program director for the McGill Advanced Thoracic and Upper GI Surgical Oncology Fellowship. In addition, Dr Spicer is the research chair for the Canadian Association of Thoracic Surgeons and director of the Canadian Cancer Trials Mesothelioma Working Group.

Professor Virginie Westeel is a pulmonologist and thoracic oncologist at the University Hospital of Besançon, France. She chairs the Cochrane Lung Cancer Review Group. She is the president of the Intergroupe Francophone de Cancérologie Thoracique and led the first large multicentre randomized trial on the follow-up after surgery for lung cancer conducted to date, for which she received the IASLC Robert Ginsberg Merit Award in 2013.

She currently works as a visiting investigator at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center through CTONG -MSK collaboration programme. She has committed to applying adjuvant targeted therapy based on genomic signature and promoting precision medicine to the perioperative treatment.
